Built with a flat bottom for modern stovetops, it combines traditional manufacturing methods with practical everyday usability for healthy meal preparation.
- Overall Size: Measures 28cm across the rim, offering sufficient capacity for standard family cooking portions.
- Forging Technique: Created through 36,000 hand-hammering iterations utilizing ancient cold working techniques for structural density.
- Base Design: Flat bottom profile ensures stability and direct contact with induction cooking surfaces.
- Surface Composition: Contains zero paint layers or chemical non-stick coatings, relying on purified iron material.
- Preparation Requirement: Includes blue-black pre-seasoned finish that requires washing and applying cooking oil twice before first use.
- Heat Performance: Provides very fast heat conduction with thick retention properties for even cooking results.
- Usage Safety: Enables lower oil amounts during cooking to significantly reduce smoke production and fumes.
- Longevity Features: Reacts safely with air to form a protective iron oxide layer, increasing non-stick capability over time.
Utilizing this uncoated wok supports safer kitchen habits by minimizing dependence on excess grease while preventing flaking liner debris. The durable physical design resists damage from daily scraping and heating cycles, making it a sustainable tool that improves seasoning quality with every dish prepared.
