A replacement silicone gasket designed to restore a secure, airtight seal on compatible 12-quart, 16-quart, and 22-quart pressure cookers and canners. This two-piece set provides a direct replacement for worn sealing rings that cause steam loss, pressure drops, or lid instability.
- Model Compatibility: Fits 12qt, 16qt, and 22qt units matching part number S-9882 and suffix variants like -11 or -35 across designated model series.
- Precise Inner Diameter: Measures approximately 12.6 inches (32 cm), engineered to sit flush inside the lid channel without slipping or outward bulging.
- Heat-Resistant Silicone: Crafted from durable black silicone that retains elasticity through repeated heating cycles and resists permanent flattening or cracking.
- Eliminates Steam Leaks: Replaces stretched or deformed rings to stop venting during operation and ensures consistent internal pressure for safe processing.
- Quick Installation Steps: Soaking the ring in warm water for ten minutes increases flexibility, allowing it to slide smoothly into the groove and snap firmly into place.
- Easy Maintenance Routine: The polished silicone surface repels food particles, keeping cleaning simple with a damp cloth or a top-rack dishwasher cycle.
- Two-Pack Supply: Includes two identical replacement rings, providing convenient backups for extended canning seasons or frequent home preservation tasks.
- Strict Fit Specification: Engineered for the listed dimensions rather than a universal cut, requiring you to measure your current ring before swapping to avoid fit issues.
Restoring a proper seal keeps your cooking process efficient and reliable, preventing unnecessary fuel waste while ensuring vegetables, broths, and meats reach the correct internal pressure every time. The compact silicone rings store flat in any pantry drawer, and their smooth finish prevents odor retention and discoloration after repeated washing sessions.
